Fontes
- wir gestalten den Mittelstand -

FONTES (from the Latin fons: the source) stands for sustainable investment in the backbone of the German economy: the German Mittelstand.

We are advocates of corporate culture. What do we mean by that? A company is more than just an investment. A company lives and breathes through its employees, its relationships with customers, suppliers and the region in which it is located.

Outstanding products and satisfied customers are the result of each employee's pride in his work, the company and the contribution each individual makes to the overall process.

We promote a corporate culture in which everyone can develop and grow - professionally, but also privately. This creates cohesion, creative ideas and a company that thinks outside the box and offers a safe haven even in stormy times - for its employees and partners.

We are very proud that we get to work with great people every day and do our part to ensure that our companies continue to develop to their full potential and that medium-sized businesses in Germany as a whole continue to flourish.

Our Value Concepts

Like the springs - Fontes - we act:

Continous

This is the only way to create real value and drive issues forward.

We don't run after every trend and don't start to waver because a project or an idea hasn't taken off as we had hoped.

We work with selected investors and partners who support this approach

Transparent

It is sometimes difficult to be open - to acknowledge performance, to criticize or to admit mistakes.

Without transparency and openness, however, there can be no honest exchange and, in turn, no trust.

In this respect, we work on ourselves every day and demand the same from others.

Long-term

This applies to our way of thinking as well as to our operational approach and the orientation of our companies.

We want our companies to be successful without us and long after us.

To achieve this, we create independent structures and processes as well as strong networks and thus resilient companies.

Fontes Investment Strategy

We see ourselves as a specialist for succession situations and give our medium-sized companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland a new home in the context of succession. Within these general parameters, we focus on companies that:

Annual sales of
5-50 Mio €

Industrial sector or B2B services

Acquisition of the controlling majority

Fontes Operational Approach

There is no such thing as a perfect solution. But our clear focus on four mutually supportive and complementary areas enables us to define individual measures for each of our companies to develop and make them stronger overall:

Human Resources

- our team

This is where every measure begins and ends. Enabling and empowerment are the relevant keywords.

Sustainability

- a necessity

Needed to survive in the market in the long term and demands and promotes innovative capacity and adaptability.

Digitization

- the pacemaker

Creates networks, focuses on core competencies and yet opens up new perspectives and business models.

Operational Excellence

- the feather duster

Ensures best possible use of resources and release of funds through simplified and efficient processes.

Fontes Team

Fontes is the logical consequence of our previous career and the realization of our dream. We love working with people and building great companies as a team.
